How-to Setup a Label Printer on the POSA Manager
To configure a label printer to print from POSA you need: a label printer accessable from the server that the POSA Manager has been installed on, the LDN (logical Device Name) of the label printer, the label printer must have a NiceLabel driver installed on the POSA Manager server.
Step-by-step guide
1. Access the POSA Manager on the server. 2. Then navigate to System > Printers

- Change the type to "Label" and input the name of the label printer

- Access the POSA device
- Download Server changes
Test Label printing
- Access the Item Lookup in POSA

- Scan or lookup an item then navigate to the 'Labels' tab of the item lookup and click 'Queue' within the Batch window

- Repeat step 7 for all items that you want to print labels for
- Access 'Batch Label Print" in POSA

- Click on the batch to then send the printing job to the label printers.
